She had her vet visit yesterday — passed with flying colors and did great in the car! It’s hard to believe how quickly pickup day is approaching.

I attended five FluentPet webinars this week so I could better understand the button system and get everything ready for training.

Other Updates

The Secretary of Transportation recently mandated a 10% cut in air traffic at 40 major airports, including Orlando and JFK. That may affect my flights to pick up my girl. I’m hoping to know more by tomorrow, but just in case, I’ve planned several alternatives.

Unfortunately, the ongoing government shutdown has already caused delays at many airports, and I’m a little nervous about missing a connection. For now, there’s nothing more I can do — except wait, hope, and keep thinking through backup plans.
